When the God-Bulb Turns On đź’ˇ

Before anything else, I'm doing well, so please don't worry. I'm sharing this in the hope that my experience may reach someone who needs it.

There are seasons when the weight on your shoulders feels like more than one person can carry. I've been in one of those seasons lately.

And I've noticed a pattern that shows up with every challenge, every big decision, every turning point in my life. I start running the scenarios. Planning, thinking, lying awake working every angle. I try to solve it all on my own strength.

Then, eventually, I reach the same humbling realization: I don't have the answer. And that's when the "God-Bulb" turns on. đź’ˇ

It's the moment I remember, again, that I was never meant to carry it alone. Let go and let God. Life has been teaching me this lesson for years, and each time the light comes on a little sooner and shines a little brighter.

Here's what I understand more fully now. Surrender isn't giving up. It's giving over. I still do my part, the next right step in front of me. But the outcomes, the timing, the things I can't control? Those I hand back to the One who was holding them all along.

Some mornings I write my worries down, fold the paper, and put it away as a physical reminder that it's not mine to carry. When I catch myself picking it back up (and I do), I breathe and whisper, "Not my burden. Yours. Show me my part."

I'm not on the other side of this yet, but I'm doing well and walking with more peace than I was a few weeks ago. And something unexpected is happening: my faith isn't being weakened by this season. It's being strengthened.

If you're in your own scenario-running season right now, be patient with yourself. The God-Bulb will turn on. Do the next small thing. Release the rest. And let someone walk alongside you.

You're not alone, and neither am I. 🙏
